WJCC Summer 2010 Employment Opportunities
Program Director – We are looking for students currently enrolled in post secondary education to manage staff, and on-site programming for daycamp, aquatics, and leadership courses. Qualifications necessary for this position include experience in a supervisory role at a day or summer camp, and aquatic leadership courses (NLS Lifeguard, Red Cross Swim Instructor, and LSS Bronze Instructor). Deadline for application: April 19th, 2010.
Staff Trainer – We are looking for an experience instructor to provide staff in-service training and recertification for the following courses: NLS lifeguard waterfront, oxygen administration, CPR and first aid, WHMIS and workplace safety. Ability to instruct the following would be an asset: lifesaving instructor, exam standards clinic, water safety instructor, and other advanced aquatic courses. Courses to be delivered throughout the summer. Deadline for application: April 19th, 2010.

Qualifications for all staff include current NLS lifeguard and Red Cross swim instructor certification, as well as experience lifeguarding and in supervising children. Deadline for application: May 15th, 2010.
Priority for all positions will be given to LWF community residents. All applications should be submitted to (LWFRA Treasurer) by email at LWFRAinfo@gmail.com
WJCC Summer Registration
Registration for daycamp, swim lessons and leadership courses will take place at the WJCC Building (48 Community Centre Lane) on Thursday June 17th 6-8pm and Saturday June 19th 1-3pm. Registration will also take place throughout the summer at the WJCC. Please note that proof of LWF residency and payment is required at time of registration. (We have a no cash policy – Payment by Interac, cheque and credit card is available)
